Great St. Johns River Cleanup
St. Johns Riverkeeper is partnering with counties, businesses, and nonprofits throughout the watershed to clean up the St. Johns River and its tributaries. Over 60 cleanups in Duval, St. Johns, Brevard, Clay, Orange, Volusia, Putnam and Seminole are planned during the month-long Great St. Johns River Cleanup! Beginning on March 16 and continuing through April 25, join an official cleanup in your county or organize a cleanup of your own.

Join St. Johns Riverkeeper and FSCJ for a special Earth Month cleanup in the Timucuan Ecological Preserve! Do your part for the planet, hear from park educators, and enjoy the day in this beautiful preserve.

Saturday, April 20 | Moncrief Creek | Eartha’s Farm & Market | 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.
Join St. Johns Riverkeeper and Eartha’s Farm and Market during Earth Day weekend for an educational cleanup on Moncrief Creek. All ages welcome! Kids must be accompanied by an adult. Please bring reusable water bottles, sunscreen and bug spray. Closed-toe shoes are encouraged. All other cleanup materials will be provided.
Saturday, April 20 | Goodbys Creek Paddleboard Cleanup | Wicked Barley | 9 a.m.
Try something new, support a local business, AND do your part for the Great St. Johns River Cleanup! Join Florida Yoga and Paddle (FYP) for a paddle cleanup and SUP yoga session on Goodbys Creek. FYP is offering an opportunity to clean Goodbys Creek before enjoying a relaxing yoga session surrounded by water and nature right from your paddleboard in honor of Earth Day.
The cleanup will begin at 9 a.m. and yoga will begin around 9:45 a.m. Please arrive 15 minutes early and watch this instructional video prior to the event. Saturday, April 20 | Orange County | Seminole Ranch Conservation Area | 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Central Florida Recon will not bring kayaks to this event. 🐊These waters are home to gators! No paddleboards. There is plenty of space to walk on foot to pick up trash and we will have a supply of trash grabbers and buckets to share, feel free to bring your own bucket and grabber with you.

There will be a free giveaway as a thank you to the volunteers. There will be a zippered tote for those volunteers older than eight years of age, and a stuffed otter (while supplies last and for those on the pre-registered list) for the younger participants.

Join Rising Tides young professionals Earth Day weekend for our monthly cleanup on McCoys Creek! As always, all of our cleanups are RAIN or SHINE! 
This month we’re cleaning up Powers Park from 10 a.m. – noon. All ages are welcome! This cleanup is co-hosted by NAS Jax Skin and Scuba Club!
Powers Park is navigable by water, if you have a kayak/canoe that you want to bring to get trash we can’t reach from shore!
